Biography
Evgenij Potapov is consultant senior surgeon and co-chairman of the MCS programme in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the German Heart Centre of the Charite, Berlin. He completed is medical training at Free University, Berlin in 1996 and his PhD in Cardiac Surgery at Humboldt University, Berlin in 2009. His main research interests are in heart failure, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment, ventricular assist devices and heart transplantation.
